Primordial Fury is a high level Raiding guild on the Mithaniel Marr Server. We were created so that members with similar ideas and goals would have a base of operation to acheive these goals. By melding together under a common guild tag, these members can assist each other in defeating new mobs, exploring new zones, and further equipping their avatars with top of the line equipment.
Our members are raid focused and dedicated. The guild is a chance for the each player to have a fun and exciting experience in game. The guild will be focused on raiding during the Eastern Standard Time frame of 6:30PM until 12:00AM. We will not have a stringent weekly schedule of raids, instead we will raid whenever targets become available. Leaders and Officers will maintain a "hit-list" for priority mobs so that each member will be fully aware of the guild direction and desires.
And finally, it is expected that each and every member understand, accept and comply with our goals, guidelines and objectives.
The "Cut List"
So you may be thinking once you are in PF you are in for life, right? Well not really. We are a raiding guild and we try to keep our roster as trim as possible. Once a month we publish the cut list. In order for you to not appear on the cut list, you must meet the following requirement:
We will look at your MONTHLY attendance over the last 2
months - your average attendance must be greater than 50% (barring RL issues - these need
to be discussed with your mentor). Members who are under 60% attendance average for
2 months will be put on a "watch" list for attendance. If you have RL
issues we can work with you - please discuss them with your mentor and let us know when to
expect your attendance to go back to normal.
We will publish the people on the cut list about 3 weeks before hand to give you a chance
to improve your attendance. Everyone has personal issues, but when your personal issues
consistently keep you from making the attendance requirements, then PF is probably not the
guild for you.
PF's main goal is to raid any and all available
targets within our hit list. We farm equipment for the simple fact that it
furthers our raiding goals - but equipment farming is not why we were here.
Our goal is to keep our numbers as low as possible to minimize the amount of equipment and
training we have to do. Therefore, it is important that we are able to count
on the majority of our roster to appear at each and every raid. It is the
responsibility of each member to keep up with their attendance and to notify the
leadership if they will have up-coming schedule conflicts so that we can plan for
it. If you do not feel you can make the attendance or level requirement
consistently, then PF is not the guild for you.
PNP (Play Nice Policy)
Primordial Fury has rules of conduct that
can help every player better enjoy the game while being courteous to your fellow
guildmates, in realizing that your actions have an impact on the guild as a whole.
Therefore, the PF Play Nice rules, will be comprised of the following:
1) We will not Steal or move in on a camp already declared by another
player. If the other player was there first and is unwilling to share, then we will leave
or move to a different camp. If another player moves in on your camp, you should politely
as them to leave, if they refuse or if they become aggressive towards you, you should
/report them and /petition and notify a Guildleader or Mentor.
2) We will not engage in the practice of ninja looting. This means you
will not take loot which was not given to you or rightfully won by you via a lotto or by
the whole group agreeing on defaulting the item to you.
3) We will not purposefully train another player, camp or zone. If we
train by mistake or stupidity, we will apologize to that player, and if we got them
killed, we will take responsibility for our actions and assist them in CR and in being
rezzed. Classes that are unable to Invis need to carry an invis potions or have a
pocket inviser to avoid training. If you neglect to do so, it will be considered
deliberate training.
4) We will not interfere in another player's kill unless the other player
asks for our assistance. We will not take named mobs from camps which are claimed by
others. If others take named mobs from our camps, we will attempt to contact them to
resolve the situation in a polite and civil manner. If they are unwilling to discuss the
situation or unwilling to stop their behaviour we will /report and /petition them.
5) We will not cuss at any other player or use foul langugage towards any
other player on any channel. If another player uses foul language towards us, we will
/report them and petition them to a GM.
6) We will abide by all rules set forth by SoE. Cheating of any
kind will not be tolerated.
7) We will do our best to make "good decisions" when it comes
to petty arguments with other players and we will take the "high road" whenever
possible. It is not our goal to get involved with petty squabbles with another player or
guild.
8) We will not curse or use foul language in guildchat or in any other
channel. We will remember that our actions will reflect on PF as a whole.
9) We will be courteous towards guildmates and treat them with respect.
In return we expect to be treated with respect. If we have any issues with another
guildmate, we will escalate it to their mentor. If a mentor is not available, we will
escalate it to Vlad or Kalynn.
10) Members will be required to carry a gate potion on them at all times.
We will not be going back for people who were left behind due to being AFK or LD and
unable to log in. I am sure one of our shamans will be willing to make some gate potions
for members at cost. All you need is one charge for emergency situations.
When you don't Play nice
There are serious repercussions to not playing nice - and you put PF as a whole in
jeopardy when you do not think about your actions. In order to help you remember that your
actions have consequences, any break of the "PF play nice" rules will be taken
as an "offense". These offenses will be dealt with in a serious manner and can
ultimately result from your removal from PF. Therefore, we ask that you do your best to
play nice!
1st offense - loot freeze for up to 10 RA - this will be done
when a formal warning is issued. It can and will result in you being barred from any loot
during any raids for up to the next 10 RA. Issues will be brought to mentors who will be
able to issue warnings and forward the issue on to guildleaders for final decision on
freeze.
2nd offense - loot freeze for up to 20 RA - This is a penalty that
will be imposed on a serious offense or if you already have a warning on a minor offense
and you do it again. The offense will be escalated to officers, and you will be warned
again and will be placed on loot freeze for up to another 20 RA.
3rd offense - /guildremove - you will be
guildremoved for a heinous offense or if you continue breaking play nice rules even after
you have been warned. This can only be invoked by guildleaders and it is permanet. No
exceptions will be made. Guildleaders will not take this decision lightly and will take
input from mentors before a final decision is made.
Rules for Alternates
PF is a raid guild and we cater to main characters first and foremost. Our rules for alternates are fairly strict because we want you to focus on your main character. However, we do know that many people have alts in order to make the game more interesting, therefore, the rules listed below will be followed as far as alternates are concerned.
PLAYING AN ALT DURING A RAID
* Alts waiting for flags will be camped at the Zone in of
the zone where we are flagging if COH is available.
* If COH is not available - alts will be placed in an alts group -- DO NOT SEND TELLS TO
MENTORS AND LEADERS ASKING FOR SPECIAL GROUPS FOR YOUR ALT.
* ALTS must be tagged PF to be eligible for any flag
