Primordial Fury started as an idea in the world of Everquest. Mainly it started because Vladimoir (vladimor in WoW) and Kalynn (Melinda in WoW) could not really find a guild on our server (Mithaniel Marr) that met our desires for raiding. In May of 2002, we began to contact friends online with a new idea for a raiding guild, to see if they were interested. It turned out that many of our friends, had the same frustrations we did, and the idea of a new raid guild was appealing to most everyone.
By 05/15/2002 we had about 11 folks that had showed interest in what we were trying to do. We began our long search for a guild name, and after a few rejected names by Sony (Legion of Cain, The Forgotten) we finally settled on Primordial Fury. We had final approval for the guild on 05/20/2002 but had to wait until 05/26/2002 to get our tags. Our very first raid as a guild took place on May 23, 2002!

The move to World of Warcraft
For almost 3 years, PF raided in EQ. Towards the end of 2004, the game started to get stale for many of us, we were looking for something new and different. Although at first we resisted the urge to make the move to World of Warcraft, by December of 2004, we realized we needed a change. The choice became either move to EQ2 or move to WoW - we selected Wow.
And so, PF was born on the Lothar Server in WoW in January 5th, 2005. It is important to note the members who made the move with us - although some are no longer playing on our server or playing the game at all - I still want to recognize them and thank them for signing our charter!
Thank you all for supporting us and sticking with us through the change - it has paid off and Vlad and I are thankful to have such a wonderful group of folks to raid with!
